heartbreak kid - trilogy
HEARTBREAK KID will be a book trilogy. I have two sequels outlined and in the works.
HEARTBREAK KID - part 2, will cover my 30s-40s, from 1980-1999. It will reveal more betrayals and lost love, with alcoholism/drug addiction taking its toll on my life.
My years of working in my new career of stage production, will be long hours of hard, physical work, but with exciting, behind the scenes experiences.
In my 30s, I will finally get clean and sober and, during the recovery process, I will start thinking again about my own dreams.
By the end of my forties, I will be well on the way to planning an early retirement to begin fulfilling my own dreams, instead of working only on the dreams of others.
HEARTBREAK KID - part 3, will be the New Millennium to the present day, my 50s-70s. In retirement, I will finally see my own dreams becoming a reality: publishing my poetry and performing it, utilizing my artwork and music to help in making it unique and exciting.
I will become a producer and host of literary/arts events, helping countless other authors, artists, and musicians to gain wider exposure for their work. With the added benefit of me videotaping many events and readings, I will have a running visual record of my own poetry performances, as well as the readings of hundreds of other authors. I will create a YouTube channel to showcase it all.
My Wordsongs™ series of poetic albums will finally happen. Poems that are like songs or could be songs, is a concept I've had for many years. It will finally see fruition.
I will write a book on recovery, chronicling the first ten years of the recovery process (in chronological order), totally written in verse. I will create a one-hour poetry/performance piece, to accompany the book.
My dreams continue, and during the unforeseen pandemic of 2020, I will end up writing a memoir of my youth, that I hope will see publication.
