The pains of life do not spare any of us. We all struggle and look for something to ease the pain. This book follows the broken dreams of a lonely man who used drugs and alcohol to cope with the pain in his life. Observe his broken dreams and struggles on side one and his re-awakening to a new life in recovery on side two. In this inspirational and innovative book, C. Steven Blue presents another great set of heartfelt wordsongs. The Wordsongs Series: Each book in this series contains 20 pieces designed to be similar in scope to a music record album, with side one and side two, but instead of songs it is comprised of a style of poems that are called wordsongs. Each book is a concept album, with a general theme running through it, told in verse format. Wordsongs are the original creation of C.Steven Blue, who also created a definition for this concept: word'song, n. [AS. wordsong.] 1. a poem that is like a song or could be a song 2. verses that tell a story in song-like rhythm, often with a refrain 3. a song that you read

Personal and evocative, C. Steven Blue presents another set of revealing and inspirational wordsongs. Wordsongs - Facebook Chapbook #1: Perspective View Of The Endless New THE FIRST EVER ORIGINAL POETRY CHAPBOOK ACTUALLY PUBLISHED AS A FACEBOOK PAGE !! A MULTI-MEDIA CYBERSPACE EXPERIENCE !! ABSOLUTELY FREE !! See it here: www.facebook.com/591180474377593 _____________________________________ Is it possible, at this late date, to do something completely original on Facebook, something that has never been done? I believe I have done just that! Once again, I believe I have created something completely original! I believe I have created the first ever, original poetry chapbook, actually published as a Facebook page. —Not a book promotion page, promoting a book in print, an eBook or a book series. —Not an ongoing poetry posting page, nor an anthology or poetry contributing group. —This is an actual chapbook: a single, original, multi-media chapbook with thirty poems, published as an actual Facebook page. It is not published in any other form. It is a multi-media experience: A performance poetry chapbook; that you read, listen to and watch. I have found no evidence of anything else like this out there: no other original chapbook that exists as a Facebook page, published for that explicit purpose. But . . . I predict that this will become a trend. I predict that in the near future there will be hundreds, even thousands of poetry chapbooks published as Facebook pages and many multi-media ones. BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE FIRST !!! Published on this day: June 2, 2016. I hope you enjoy it. I would like to thank book reviewer Adam Levon Brown for his review of my newest book, Wordsongs. You can see it here:
