A. Lynn Ash:
A. Lynn Ash, born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, graduated from the University of Oregon in 1971 with a B.S. in psychology. In 1975 she earned an M.A. in geography from California State University. Upon returning to Eugene in 2010, Ash has pubished two memoirs about her solo camping days, as well as her latest work, Eugeneana: Memoir of an Oregon Hometown. She is currently working on a third camping memoir, Dark Canyon Diary, to complete her solo camping trilogy.

​​Gus Daum:
Mine is a life that began in the Great Depression and dust storms of the 1930s, and US Navy service in two oceans in the ‘40s. Trained as an engineer, the intricacies of mathematics led to financial management in several corporations, large and small, and retirement from small business/tax consulting. I edged into poetry in my mid-eighties as a way to portray the humor, beauty, and caring that exists everywhere in people and nature for those of us who seek it.
