Rachel Rich:
As her parents pulled their tiny trailer from town to town, Rachel Rich grew up with a book in one hand and a fishing pole in the other. To her list of muses, Rachel’s eccentric parents later added herb farming, music and metaphysics. Outdoor adventures highlighted her marriage and danger her career, all ample fodder for poetry and memoir.
Rachel Rich’s writings appear in Eugene 150th Birthday Celebration Poetry Collection, Beachside Writers 2013, Ripples on the Water, Oregon’s Main Street: US Highway 99 – The Stories, Groundwaters Magazine and multiple editions of the Groundwaters Anthology series.
Ulrick Casimir:
Ulrick Casimir lives, writes, and teaches in the Pacific Northwest. He earned a B.A. from North Carolina State University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; he also holds an M.A. and a Ph.D., both in English, from the University of Oregon, where he teaches. Ulrick's scholarship has appeared in the film journal Jump Cut, and his short stories have frequently appeared in Plainsongs literary magazine. Published by Corpus Callosum Press, Ulrick's debut short-story collection, Children of the Night: Stories, arrived this spring.
