C. Steven Blue:
C. Steven Blue stands outside the normal conventions of modern poetry. He is a lyrical/performance poet; reading and performing his poetry from a unique rhythmic perspective: at the crossroads of poetry and music.
Producer, publisher, poet and performer, Steven has performed from coast to coast and has been interviewed on television and radio and in literary magazines. His work appears in numerous literary journals and anthologies, both in print and online. He has eight published books and has published the work of other poets, as well as poetry anthologies for the city of Eugene and the Oregon Poetry Association.
With the help of his poetry group, The Eugene Poetry Foundation, Steven has produced and hosted many local poetry and art events over the years, which have helped countless poets, artists and musicians to gain wider exposure. His new book, The Power of a Woman, was published this year on the 4th of July. It is a celebration of womankind from one man's loving perspective.
