Lotus Unfolding, Sylvia and Asante Riverwind, perform all original music, a new yet ancient sound. M. Kay Runyan:
From early beginnings of poverty, sexual abuse by a close relative and becoming a voice for people with non-visible disabilities, M. Kay Runyan's memoir, Choices: A Story of Survival, is a compelling read that you don't want to miss.
Through sheer perseverence and against the odds, Dr. Runyan has a Ph.D from U.C. Berkeley and has published in academic journals and textbooks. She has presented globally to audiences throughout the United States and Europe.
She had a practice for many years in San Francisco, California focusing on students and adults with learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder. She completed ground breaking research on why these individuals were entitled to accommodations at the university level.
She is semi-retired and lives with her dog Sophie in Eugene, Oregon. She enjoys consulting, writing, reading, hiking, golf and her grandchildren.
