I would like to extend my personal thanks to all the readers and everyone who attended the showcase yesterday at the Eugene Public Library. You helped to make it a successful 3rd year and we look forward to doing it again next year.
Once again the C. Steven Blue Poetry Workshop @ Eugene Public Library was a raging success. My thanks to all who attended and a special thanks to the hard-working efforts of my co-panelists, Michele Graf and Rachel Rich. We had a record turnout yesterday and everyone said they had a wonderful time, learned a lot, and would surely come again. Thanks to the library and, especially, adult librarian Scott Herron for their wonderful support of my poetry events.
Yesterday, October 4th, 2014, we had a book release party for karen a. dalyea's new book, songs of the worm whisperer.
Poet extraordinaire, Kit Chell, was very gracious in hosting the party at his home.
I am proud and pleased to have been able to publish karen's manuscript into a proper book for her and her future readers.
It will be available very soon right here on my website, but for now you can purchase it on Amazon.com here:

My intention with this blog is to catalog and update my progress as I pursue my writing career in retirement. I will be posting about poetry events I am involved in, as well as the publishing and performing of my work. Here you can observe my adventures. Feel free to comment.
