I'd like to thank all of you who came out for my reading/book signing on Saturday.
The reading was exciting and well received by those who were there. After the reading, I did an interesting Q&A session with the audience for about 15 minutes. After that I signed books in the front of the store for a little over two hours. It kind of reminded me of BURNIN DOWN THE BARNES. I left some books with the store to sell. I also discussed with the staff the possibility of bringing the monthly reading/open mic back. All in all it was great fun, and more of the general public are now going to be reading my book. And on an even more exciting note, I got great news today: I am very pleased to announce that The Last Hippy Poet of the Woodstock Generation has been approved as an entry for the Pulitzer Prize in Literature, in both the memoir and poetry categories.
