Eugene Poetry Slam...

Sat. 3/10/2012. Performed at the open mike/poetry slam at Tsunami Books.
Open mike: read my new political poem, "The Shadow Of The '60s...(continued). Recited, "Little Toy Gun."
Poetry Slam: (three minute limit) read my political poem, "The Shadow Of The '60s" in the first round. In the second
round, I gave the audience a choice of a rhyming poem or no-rhyming one. They picked rhyming. I recited part one of "Short Stories" (the first three pieces).
I won third place in the slam and will go to the finals in May.
